About Dr. Louie-Marc Contreras
Dr. Louie-Marc Contreras is originally from San Francisco, California, and currently resides in Southern California. He completed his pre-medical studies at Johns Hopkins University, followed by his medical school at Loma Linda University. He then completed a general surgery residency at Charles Drew University/Martin Luther King Jr. Medical Center. He started his practice immediately in 2004 with a focus on general surgery, acute care surgery, trauma surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopic/robotic surgery, and surgical treatments in Valencia, California. He currently serves as the Chief of Staff at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. In addition, he is the Director of General Surgery and has served as the Chair for the Department of Surgery at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. Dr. Contreras is a board-certified general surgeon who continues to enjoy the compassionate, personal, and excellent service he provides to his patients.
